For this makeup crush Friday i went total opposite of the spectrum. While last time i celebrated the simple in life this week i want some of the daring flare of the beautiful Perrie Edward. A member of the X factor UK winning band Little Mix Perrie is one fourth of a powerhouse girl power group thats currently sweeping the world. (Want a good listen, their Salute album, no need to thank me or skip tracks, you are welcome in advanced!) Perries style has changed drastically form her X Factor days and its this constant evolution that makes her one of my Makeup crushes.
Perries most current Makeup looks are a few steps up form her old ones. Where she used to fall back on black eyes and a fun funky lip color now shes really branched out, sometimes rocking smoked out neutrals, and nude pouty lips, and other times rocking her black liner and purple lipstick in true Perrie fashion. Little mix has worked with Collection (A lovely UK makeup brand) and put out products for eat girl that help you get their look. A few of Perries pieces have become staples in my makeup collection. Hes is the only purple lip that looks good on me!
Most recently she has been really working the super pouty nude lip that has helped make Kylie Jenner super talked about. Perries coloring is very different form my own but i think it speaks volumes that a blonde with blue eyes rocks looks that can be emulated by someone with dark hair and eyes and an olive complection and still look good. This past July 10th was Perries 21st birthday and her makeup was done by her bands makeup artist, Adam Burrell. For the day he posted the look, along with a list of the products used and well wishes for her special day.
Below is a list of products used on Perries birthday, and the look is featured in the third picture here.
* BarryM Brown Soft Eye Crayon
* Charlotte Tilbury The Golden Goddess Luxury Palette
* Illamasqua Precision Ink
* House of lashes Siren lashes
* HD brows Bombshell Palette
* Charlotte Tilbury Ibiza Beach Stick Bronze
* BarryM Russet Lip Liner
* Lord and berry Lipstick Crayon in Blush
I do love that Perrie uses a healthy mix of drug store goodness and high end, it makes her look so much more accessible and helps show others the gems you can find at a bargain.
Whos makeup have you been loving lately? And what are some of the products you have just been dying to incorporate in your everyday looks?
